We are Zaikio and we are building the open platform of the same name for the printing industry. Our goal: to drive digitization and automation in one of the oldest and largest industries in the world, with modern technologies and good product design. With our in-house MIS Keyline, we leverage the power of Zaikio and offer printers a fully comprehensive and modern management software. Join our team as a Junior or Senior Developer for Keyline!

Your mission

Your task will be help our development team to ship new features and improve on what we've got. Together with management and our customer success team, you will identify needs and feature requests. You will design these features together with our UX team and eventually write code to make it happen. You are not alone, but member of a team of skilled developers, that will help you grow.

Your tasks

• Develop new features for our product Keyline.
• Write clean code and tests using mainly Ruby on Rails (with some JavaScript here and there).
• Discuss requirements with fellow developers and the UX and customer success team.

Your profile

• Basic experience in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
  
• Very good communication skills in English and an empathetic manner.
• Affinity for the topic of industry digitalization and new work.
• Self-organized and full of drive.

What are the tools of choice?

At the core, our tech stack is build upon Ruby on Rails, Heroku, AWS, and Postgres. We embrace the Rails Way of doing things, with a lot of the magic happening in the backend (Hotwire, Turbo) and sprinkles of Javascript using Stimulus and sometimes Vue.js in the frontend. In addition to these technologies, we use the usual suspects for CI/CD and communication: CircleCI, Github, Slack, Intercom, WhereBy, Tuple – This will be your toolbox. Experience in test automation would be a plus.
